Thanks to Steve Tepfer, Class of 1959
For These Great Photos
Steve went from high school into the Coast Guard and since he was a photographer in high school for The Chat, he lucked out and became a photographer for the Coast Guard.  In 1960 he was assigned to do the photography at the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve Officers Convention at The Americana (now The Hilton) in New York.  He was taking pictures of the champ with other people and asked someone to take a photo of him with Clay.

If you have any photos to share, send them to rockaway@astound.net

Stephen Tepfer & Cassius Clay - 1960

This photograph is what Steve does for fun when he's not running his model agency...flying helicopters at Scottdale Airport in Arizona where he lives.  This is a Schweitzer 300D.

A great photo of the FRHS Baseball Team taken in 1959
