Hi Skip and Carol,
All my information is correct, but there is one addition since I last wrote.........Since registering on FRHS web site, I have married. The girl that said no to me 32 years ago found me through this site, contacted me, and this time said yes. We have been looking for each other for 32 years. My wife did not attend Far Rockaway High School, but a friend of hers did, and when she saw my name on the website, she let Ellen know, and you know how it ended.
Ellen's maiden name was Kahn. She spent summers in the bungalows around 54th street, and knew many of the kids that went to Far Rockaway. We reconnected in October of 2000, married in March 2001, and thanks to you and others, two people are very happy. Ellen moved from Florida to Fresno in June.
For all the hard work you put into this site, know that much good comes from your efforts. Thank you both for giving so much of your time to providing a "window to the past".
