The Annual 1956 South Florida Mini Reunion Sunday, March 6, 2011

It's that time again to plan for our Annual Gathering of the Gods and Goddesses of the graduates of 1956. It will be scheduled for March 6, 2011 at Prime Catch. "The Gathering Committee" have looked into many places during this year and none of the places (1) had their private party room to accommodate our group, (2) had the kind of foods we all enjoy on a Sunday afternoon, (3) is centrally located so all can get there with no problem and (4) is primo as far as location on the water. I'm asking you all for an early RSVP so I can get a handle on who will be attending. Thanks for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you on March 6th.

Reunion plans finalized for October 23, 2010 at the Holiday Inn at JFK for class of 1970 extended invitation to classes of 1969 and 1971.* Room rates for those from out of town $130.00 per night all inclusive. Block of rooms reserved please call Hotel for your reservation : 718- 659-0200. There will be a get together Friday night for those that wish to hang out. Reunion dinner Saturday night at a cost of $100.00 per person includes Hors D'oeuvres + 3 course meal, DJ to keep the party rocking and hopping and decorating the room, cash bar. We plan on a really fun night. If you have any special talent that can help enhance the night please let us know (entertainers etc.). We can use volunteers that would help put together a photo montage and we are open to suggestions for anything else to make this night most memorable. A showcase table is planned that will display items from Far Rockaway and school memorabilia (items needed so please loan us your memorabilia and you will get them back that night). Let us know what you intend to bring for the display. If you want to share any of your memories in written format please submit them to us via email or hard copy by post. We are trying to compile a pamphlet for everyone that night to take home with them.

* Please note we reserved a party room and need RSVP'S ASAP. This will allow us to gage the room size needed for event. We hope that if the party size grows the hotel will have available a larger space. Your early response and commitment will guarantee your spot. Therefore it is of utmost importance if you plan on coming let us know by the end of February. We would hate to turn people away because we can't accommodate them due to lack of room space.

Deposits - 50% deposits for dinner ($50.00 per person) are needed to hold your reservation. Balance will be due 2 weeks prior to event.

There is complimentary shuttle service to and from JFK airport which runs 24 /7.

1956 FLORIDA MINI-REUNION

PURPOSE:    Mini Florida reunion for 1956 graduates

DATE: Sunday, February 11, 2007

TIME: 12 noon until we are all talked out and our bellies are full

PLACE:  Prime Catch (same place as last year) Delray Beach, FL (THE ROOM IS RESERVED)

Please bring your spouse/significant other or just come by yourself.  I will need a definite head count by the 1st of February.  You can order what you want from the menu and if I remember correctly last year we split the check.  You will be asked to pay for your own drinks. (This makes it only fair for the non-drinkers.) Dress is casual and comfortable.

We are planning a Holiday Party on Saturday, December 7th, 2002.  It is at  the  Quality Inn,  1208 North Ocean Boulevard Pompano Beach, Fl 33062. The Neptune is the name of the restaurant where the party will take place.
It is right on the beach, (Pompano)  There will be a live band and prices are very reasonable,  since it is in a hotel we can great room rates for those of us who want to make it a mini-vacation.

There are  3 options for the main course, which are:
1. Dolphin Francese over angel hair pasta.
2. Marinated Citrus Chicken Breast with lemon garlic rice
3. Veal Parm. w/ Angel hair pasta topped w/Marinara  Sauce

All dinners include Salad, Dessert, and Steamed Veggies the price is $21.95  There will be a CASH BAR.  THE ROOM RATE DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF ROOMS RESERVED $69 OR $59 (IF OVER 10 ROOMS)...
